I like this, it has nice smooth bass sounds, its a very chilled out track. Perhaps in some places it could do with a bit more going on lead melody-wise since its quite along track i think it would benefit from it. the outro to me was a little on the dull side but overall good job.

SynchroSpectre responds:

Oh yes, I believe you're right but I ran out of ideas for the outro, I'm really new to progressive so I don't know how things are mastered and how the structure and the message its trying to send :l

Thanks for the review, I will keep those I mind in the future ;)

The sounds are good and i really liked how this started out, the part at 0.23 where the drums come in is awesome. But the problem is the song is too repetitive, that main bass line part at the start just repeats itself until the end and the whole song is just based around that one part.
I'm no expert when it comes to dnb but if it was me i would of added it some different melody's to keep things interesting.

DesoFreelanceRecords responds:

Many of DnB producers (especially Oldschool ones) creating dnb tunes that contains long and repetitive melody, to make them easier to mix for DJ's . Just take a listen of dnb songs from a year similar to 1997.
Thank You very much for sharing Your opinion !

its got some cool sounding synths in there and a good catchy rhythm, like the other person said it could do with being longer.

L13S responds:

Thanks you! Well it's your lucky day because I have made it longer. I'm still doing some minor edits but I should release a full completed version soon. Hopefully you'll like it :)

I really liked this, a good melody, strong beat and some variations thrown in for good measure, definitely captured the essence of trance. What program did you use for this?

neocrey responds:

FL Studio

This is definitely experimental and I like that about it. The distorted beats are pretty cool and the whole thing has kind of a mechanical feel to it ,what with the lo fi sound in the background and the ticking melody. Cant really fault it for what it is. Good job.

Yqarus responds:

Yeah, I just tried playing around with a synthesizer for the lo-fi (Broken GB like) sound.
The ticking melody also was just an idea, in my head it all matched together xD
Thanks for your comment.

Sounds awesome, its like an 8-bit dance song. Good work, just wondering what plugins did you use?

Bunnymajs responds:

Magical8bit, Pooboy2 and ymVST, also some samples recorded from LSDJ :)
Thanks!

This is epic. Very good job. I like orchestral melodys mixed with a drum and bass feel. How do you do those stutters at 0.54?

ToRtiK responds:

with "Gross Beat"
And thanks for review. :)

That's good for something that only took you an hour or two, very catchy. I feel it could be better if you added some different sections, I know its a loop but a bit of variation cant hurt.

TechnoWolf99 responds:

Yeah, I get what you mean, thanks for pointing it out. I'll keep that in mind for my future releases.

I love the retro sound, how did you achieve the cool sweeping lines at 0.22?
Really good job dude.

SourJovis responds:

You mean the glissandos? Just a square wave lead with echo. Note by note switching between the harmonic and the natural minor scale at each accent. The accents are played louder.
